Board Chair:

Kern Egan, Multiplier

Kern Egan is the founder and CEO of Multiplier, an agency at the intersection of culture and capital.

Multiplier manages the cultural marketing initiatives of a global client roster, including Bridgestone, GEODIS, Invisalign, JP Morgan Payments, On Running, PitchBook, Winnebago, and Wyndham Hotels, among others.

Kern is an advisor for Cal-Berkeley's SkyDeck technology accelerator and is the founder and chairman of Dallas Influencers in Sports and Entertainment (DISE), the area's leading industry nonprofit, granting over $1,000,000 to 46 local youth charities. He is also the former Chairman of the Heart of Dallas Bowl at the historic Cotton Bowl Stadium and served on the North Texas Super Bowl XLV Host Committee.

Kern, a graduate of Indiana University, was named a Forty Under 40 honoree by both the SportsBusiness Journal and Dallas Business Journal.

President:

Caitlin Morgan, DLA Piper

Caitlin Morgan is a sports lawyer with DLA Piper. Caitlin’s sports practice emphasizes litigation, where she routinely advises sports organizations and rights holders in litigation, class actions, and arbitrations. Her notable work within the sports industry includes representing collegiate organizations regarding athletic grant-in-aid, name, image, and likeness, concussions, return-to-play issues, licensing issues, and telecast rights agreements. Caitlin is a member of DLA Piper’s Media, Sport and Entertainment group which provides advice to a variety of stakeholders, including lenders, investors, sports leagues, and stadium and club owners, in a range of areas, such as financing, rights agreements, sponsorship agreements, licensing and IP, M&A transactions, labor and employment issues, and disputes.

Caitlin joined DLA Piper in 2022. She has been recognized as a leader in litigation by her peers as a Texas Super Lawyers “Texas Rising Star” since 2014. Caitlin is originally from New York, where she graduated magna cum laude from Albany Law School.

Vice President:

Channing Butler, Connect Partnership Group

Channing Butler is the VP of Sales and Strategy for Connect Partnership Group. Her primary responsibilities are generating revenue and consulting on behalf of Connect’s diverse portfolio of clients, and leading strategic business planning and special projects for the agency.

Prior to joining Connect, Channing was part of the team that opened Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas where she helped develop the corporate strategy and sold sponsorships across the venue and a variety of events, including the F1 USGP race weekend, ESPN Summer X Games, MotoGP, and the Amphitheater business. Channing kick-started her career with the Dallas Stars in Corporate Partnerships and Broadcast, and is a proud alumna of the University of North Texas, where she graduated summa cum laude. Preceding her career on the commercial side of sports business, Channing was a highly competitive motorcycle racer for over a decade, which has translated into her work through dedication, discipline and the desire to win. Her recent return to two wheels continues to fuel her competitive flame.

Channing has a passion for travel and learning about different cultures around the globe. When she isn’t exploring the world or competing on the race track, you can find her at a Texas country concert or bingeing TED Talks.

Channing also serves as an Advisory Board Member for the UNT Sports Entertainment Management Masters program.

Secretary:

Lauren Allison, Multiplier

Lauren Allison joined Multiplier in 2023 as Vice President, Insights & Analytics. She leads a team responsible for unearthing unique, compelling, data-driven insights in order to find new and creative opportunities to connect with target audiences.

Lauren Allison spent the previous 10 years at MVPindex, directing the insights team and providing data and analytics for clients that included brands, agencies, media, teams, leagues, and celebrities in sports and entertainment, focusing primarily on sponsorship valuation metrics.

Prior to MVPindex, Lauren managed digital strategy and creative services for Townsquare Media and was a web developer and multimedia journalist at The Dallas Morning News. She got her start at Citadel Broadcasting in Baton Rouge, where she was a radio producer, personality, and webmaster. She is a graduate of LSU’s Manship School of Mass Communication.

Lauren lives in Rockwall, Texas with her husband and two daughters. She is also an actress who has been in local and regional theater and has performed voice acting through FUNimation. Since 2020, she has been a competitive age-group triathlete.

Treasurer:

Julianne Pau, American Airlines Center

Julianne Pau joined the American Airlines Center (AAC) in April 2021 and currently serves as the Director of Finance. Prior to joining the AAC, Julianne spent time at Deloitte & Touché, American Airlines, and Austin Industries.

Julianne Pau graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Accounting. She is also a licensed CPA in the state of Texas. Julianne currently lives in Carrollton, Texas with her husband, Jonathan, and two fur babies, Sadie and Friday. Her passion is traveling and she enjoys hiking at a different National Park each year.

Memberships:

Brian Loftus, CAA

Brian Loftus is a Sports Consulting Executive at CAA Brand Consulting. He is based in Dallas, Texas, and has been with CAA for five years. A key contributor to Brand Consulting’s overall success for clients, Brian is a skilled communicator and strategic marketer who has developed and executed programs for some of the world’s most recognizable and celebrated brands including Citibank, Pizza Hut, Wilson Sporting Goods, and Aflac. Brian oversees Coinbase’s and Aflac’s partnership efforts, including relationships with the NBA and WNBA, and several high-profile personalities including Coach Deion Sanders, Coach Nick Saban, and Sue Bird.

A 17-year industry veteran, Brian has helped drive growth at Haymaker (formerly Richards Sports and Entertainment), Lagardère Sports (now Sportfive), and now, CAA Sports while delivering best-in-class client service and leadership to high-profile accounts.

When Brian isn’t running road races, he and his wife do their best to keep up with their two daughters, Rose and Lucy, and young pup, Olive.

Kenny Bunch, Dallas Mavericks

Kenny Bunch currently serves as Director of Service & Retention for the Dallas Mavericks. He is tasked with leading the primary group involved with customer service and retention of Season Ticket Members for the Mavs. In addition to retention, Kenny also leads efforts with season ticket renewals, events, experiences, benefits, and new memberships. He has been with the Mavericks since 2013, and has worked in the NBA since 2011. With the Mavs, Kenny was apart of the inaugural Service & Retention team in 2013, and has since been a key contributor to renewal of over 90% of Mavs Season Ticket Members over that time span. Kenny has also served as a leader for the Black Employee Network with the Mavs, an employee resource group dedicated to outreach in underserved communities in the Metroplex, creating awareness of Black culture and initiatives within the Mavs organization, and facilitating educational opportunities internally and externally for minorities and allies.

Kenny graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Jackson State University in Jackson, MS. He also received his Masters of Arts in Sport Commerce from the University of Memphis, in Memphis, TN. Kenny is passionate about serving others, advancing the conversation of the benefits and viability of HBCU’s in our country, and using the platform provided by the sports industry to help those in need. Originally from Denver, Colorado, he currently lives in Glenn Heights with his wife Rahnesha, and their twins, Kai & Kameron.

Philanthropy:

Breon Dennis, Southland Conference

Breon Dennis joined the Southland Conference as Chief Strategy Officer in June of 2023 after spending eight seasons with the Frisco Roughriders as Vice President of Community Development and Executive Director of the RoughRiders Foundation.

Dennis oversaw the franchise's community, school, and volunteer programs and led the development of expanded outreach opportunities and initiatives throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth community. He also oversaw the RoughRiders Foundation, the franchise's 501(c)3 non-profit charitable arm.

Breon Dennis spent over 16 seasons with Frisco's Major League Baseball affiliate, the Texas Rangers, holding the title of Assistant Vice President of Community Outreach. In that role, he oversaw the Rangers Youth Ballpark, Camps, and Clinics. Additionally, Breon was responsible for grassroots marketing, corporate partnerships, and outreach within the African-American community.

Over the last decade, Larder has become a respected leader in the development of intricate operational plans, especially for national mega-events. She has led volunteer coordination for two Super Bowls, oversaw community outreach programs for the NCAA Men’s Final Four, executed events and programming for the 2012 Republican National Convention, managed pros for Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day at the U.S. Open and plays an ongoing role in the planning and execution of all pageantry for the College Football Playoff National Championship.

As Chief Operating Officer for Tony Fay Public Relations, Larder is responsible for day-to-day business operations of the company, including strategic long-term planning and human resources. She also oversees best practices in the area of client services – ensuring all contractual obligations are met and that customers’ expectations are exceeded. Annually she’s embedded with Fiur Productions to support Kids’ Day and the National Championship – in that capacity, she has twice had the honor of working closely with the United States Secret Service on a Presidential visit while implementing the President’s role in pregame pageantry.

A graduate of Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and human resources, she and her husband Bill have two adorable girls (Audrey Rose and Annabelle Rae).

Chelsea Livingston, Dallas Stars

Chelsea joined the Dallas Stars Hockey Club during the during the 2016-2017 season, where she currently presides as the Director of the Dallas Stars Foundation. She is primarily responsible for maximizing foundation funding and developing goals and strategies for fundraising campaigns. Chelsea oversees all community relations initiatives regarding the Dallas Stars, including the 2020 NHL Winter Classic Legacy Project, an ongoing two-million-dollar commitment to revitalizing South Dallas.

Prior to joining the Dallas Stars, Chelsea worked at Texas Neurofibromatosis Foundation and was actively involved with multiple Dallas-Fort Worth nonprofits. She accredits her West Texas upbringing and time at Texas Tech University for her love of sports and philanthropy.

In that time, Todd has worked alongside dozens of agencies and corporations to deliver a premium client experience aligning the interests of the brands as well as the procured talent. Paige Scott Jiménez, Multiplier

Paige Scott Jiménez joined the Multiplier team in the spring of 2023 as Senior Manager of Events and Hospitality and assists with the day-to-day operations of multiple foundations, most notably, Nancy Lieberman Charities. Paige is an integral part of the creative team that helps concept, design, and execute numerous high-profile events for athletes, sports teams, and brands. 

Born and raised in Fort Worth, TX, Paige graduated from Texas A&M University in 2017 with a B.A. in Communications and a minor in Tourism and Event Planning.

Kathryne Buckley, The Old Gym

Kathryne joined the Midlothian Historic Gymnasium Project in December 2022 as the Facility Manager for the Old Gym. She also continues to consult for events and non-profit organizations in the DFW Metroplex.

Originally from Midlothian, Texas, Kathryne graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Sport Management and Business Administration. Kathryne spent four years serving as the Athletic Programs Assistant for Midlothian ISD and six seasons with the Frisco RoughRiders. Kathryne took the lead in planning & organizing the successful operation of the 2017 Texas League All-Star Game and served as the primary contact for more than 200 events a year at Dr Pepper Ballpark including the Frisco College Baseball Classic, Cowboys Reliant Home Run Derby, Dirk's Heroes Celebrity Baseball Game, and the Red River Celebrity Softball Game. She also managed a number of the RoughRiders charitable initiatives that positively impacted the community.

She was the 2017 Texas League nominee for the prestigious Rawlings Female Executive of the Year Award (presented to a woman who has made outstanding contributions to her club, her league, and baseball) and was recognized by the Dallas Business Journal as a Forty under Forty Honoree in 2019. Kathryne serves as an Executive Board Member for the Texas A&M University Commerce Sport Management Expert Team and is a two-time inductee in the Midlothian ISD Athletics Hall of Honor.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband, Chad, and their children, Hailey Grace, and Hunter.
